When we proceed left from CRPF, and cross Nagarjuna Vidyaniketan and
Approach IVRI, the road there is absolutely pathetic. You would be
horrified to know that, more than a year ago, the authorities dug up this
road, which was not so good, but not so bad either, and we thought that
the road improvement is likely soon. But after that, stones were laid
and covered with mud and the work stopped suddenly and abruptly.
Then, after floating it in facebook etc, another batch of Sand and Stones were brought, and laid, but Tarring didnt happen.
Today, the BBMP have forgotten about this issue, despite sending request to the Attur branch (which is the nearest). This part is written just because someone reads this blog and also complains. Probably then, the work on relaying the road would resume. The image is shown below.
The BBMP Election is expected around end of July or August, but still, nothing has been done. As a result, there is a delay in reaching offices like FRLHT, IIHR etc.
Today, the road is more or less the same like this, if not worse. Only thing is that mould of stones have been flattened, but not tarred as yet.
One more thing would surprise all is that the last time this road was repaired at all was when the Karnataka Government Collapsed (between October 2007 and May 2008).
